levels to leadership levels. Scuba diving courses are divided into six category:
- Introductory programs
- Entry level courses
- Specialty level courses
- Supplementary programs
- Intermediate level courses
- Leadership level courses

relevant to your training requirement. In this site, detail information on
each course including entry prerequisites, registration protocols,
equipment requirements, course fees. course contents and course policies.

Introductory programs:
These
are participation programs designed to:
- Create interest in aquatic
activities.
- Introduce Scuba to
non-divers.
- Create awareness for
conservation of the aquatic environment.

Entry Level Courses:
| The
skin diver and scuba diver are certification courses, which is the
where your adventure in diving starts. You may choose to take each
course separately or if you wish you can enroll in the scuba diver
course without taking the skin diving course. However taking the
skin diver course will better prepare you for the scuba diver
certification course. |

| Upon
successful completion of the scuba diver course, graduates are
considered competent to engage in diving activities without
supervision provided the areas and conditions are similar to
those of their training. |

Specialty Level Courses:
| As
a certified scuba diver you may need specialty training on the
activities you had in mind. These courses will introduce specific
concepts on each area that are useful for you to achieve your dive
objectives. For example, as a diver you wish to take pictures
underwater; you may find the underwater photography course useful
that it gives you the knowledge and skills. While taking pictures,
you may want to photograph marine life that comes out at night. Now
you will need the night diving specialty course that allows you to
dive at night. The scuba rescue diver course is a prerequisite to
all leadership courses. |

Supplementary Courses:
| Supplementary
courses is aimed to provide additional knowledge in aspects related
to safer diving. The first aid and CPR course as well as the DAN
oxygen provider course will prepared you for emergencies. It is also
a prerequisite for the leadership level courses as well as the scuba
rescue diver course. |

Intermediate Level Courses:
| The
advanced scuba diver course is run entirely in an open water setting
and it consists of 1 pre-training evaluation dive, 3 core dives and
2 elective dives. The master scuba diver course is the highest
non-professional level. Every diver should become a master scuba
diver. At this level you will have good knowledge and skills to
ensure safety in diving. |

Leadership Level Courses:
| These
are professional level certification courses. Upon completion of
these courses graduates are required to enroll as member of the
certifying agency. As a member you will be entitle to benefits and
assistance from your principle agency. Being a diving professional
is a dream of many divers. It is a rewarding career, this is
conveyed in reality that not many diving professionals leave their
job for other professions. However, to become a good diving leader
requires your commitment in time, effort and resources. |

Introductory
and entry level courses includes academic sessions as well as skills
demonstrations in a confined water environment.

Open water training
sessions proceeds when the students successfully completed all academic
and confined water lessons.

Deep diving
techniques will be introduced in the advanced scuba diver course. Deep
diving is also offered as specialty course.

Night diving is
also introduced in the advanced scuba diver course as well as specialty
course.

The underwater
environment diver is a specialty course which expose the diver to aspects
of environmental sciences such as oceanography, limnology, geology,
biology and ecology.

If you want to
learn how a survey is conducted at a coral reef, the data collecting and
sampling course is for you. The course includes survey methodology,
sampling procedures and dive planning.

The coral reef
awareness program and the reef fish identification programs are fun and it
contributes to conservation of the marine environment.
